Loads of crap in store for comic con! At 6pm tomorrow I board the plane with Mike, April, Bob, and Dia for one hell of a weekend.
Wednesday:
Swim, loiter, and eat until I can get my pro badge. I will be very busy not setting up a booth because I do not have an exhibitor leash. I mean badge. Buahaha. Probably getting lunch with a pirate or something. Maybe chill with people on the bendis boards (the reason I don't post much on the bbs here, haha.)
Thursday:
I'm volunteering at the Marvel V.S. DC softball game benifitting the Hero Initiative. Stop by the Mile High Comics/ Hero booth and get a ticket-comic creators/ artists/ editors playing softball is a must see. Jim Lee is a BEAST. Then I get to see my crazy go awesome brother and eat lebanese food.
Friday:
Running a signing from 10-11 for spacedog. doing a shift at the hero booth. Meeting with my overlords at Kingdom Comics. Loiter loiter, drink drink.
Saturday:
I think this is when the MS3k panel is happening? Running a signing from 11:00-12:30 for spacedog, another shift at the hero booth.
Sunday: Kids day. Yeah um...I'm going to the beach. See ya, kids. I will show up in the last hour of con or so to say goodbye.
retail goals:
-Batman everything. Mostly a purse and a tank top.
-Freshmen summer special book! Oh that series is so GOOD!!
-Zatanna issue one.
-something positive merch and questionable content T-shirts!
general goal:
-kick ass and chew bubblegum. AND I'M ALL OUT OF BUBBLEGUM.
I am aware that the Dark Knight was awesome and of course I saw it, but screw all the haters I really loved Hellboy II.
